This handcrafted cutting and serving board is made from one single piece of Canadian cherry hardwood. Cut from live-edge wood with the bark removed, each board has a clean rustic look with unique natural grain patterns that make every piece truly one-of-a-kind. All boards come pre-treated with a mineral oil and beeswax cutting board conditioner.

These boards are made from a single piece of wood and may exhibit natural splits or cracks. Some have bark fully intact, some have pieces missing, and some have none. These are not signs of a defective product — they are a mark of genuine live edge craftsmanship. Sizing will vary in width from 7–9". Length is 15" and does not vary.

Please review and approve your mockup before we begin engraving. Once approved, production begins and changes cannot be made.

Care Instructions

Cleaning:

• Use a damp cloth with a small amount of vinegar and water to loosen food residue and disinfect.
• Never put in the dishwasher or let soak in water.
• Wipe with hydrogen peroxide to remove any remaining bacteria.

Oiling (use food-grade mineral oil — available at any pharmacy):

• Start with a clean, dry board.
• Apply mineral oil evenly using a clean, soft cloth or paper towel.
• Let it soak in, then remove the excess.
• Oil every 3–4 months in normal climates; monthly in dry or cold climates.

Can I bring my own logo or custom artwork?

Yes — that's what makes this board special. Upload your logo, design file, family crest, or custom illustration at checkout. For best engraving results, provide a high-contrast black-and-white file. We'll send a digital mockup for your approval before engraving begins.

What does "live edge" mean?

Live edge means the board is cut from a single piece of wood while preserving the natural outer edge of the tree, rather than squaring it off. This gives each board a unique organic shape with natural character. No two live edge boards are exactly the same.

Is this food-safe?

Yes. The board is pre-treated with food-grade mineral oil and beeswax conditioner. Laser engraving chars the wood surface, which is then sealed with oil — making it safe for contact with food. Regular oiling keeps it in top condition.

How long does production take?
