This handcrafted cutting and serving board is made from a single piece of Canadian cherry hardwood, cut from live-edge wood with the bark removed for a clean rustic look. The natural grain patterns and unique shaping make every board truly one-of-a-kind. All boards come pre-treated with a mineral oil and beeswax cutting board conditioner.

Natural boards may exhibit splits, cracks, or varying bark presence — these are features, not defects. Each piece is unique. Please review and approve your mockup before we begin engraving. Once approved, production begins and changes cannot be made.

Custom Cutting Board Care Instructions

Cleaning:

• Use a damp cloth with a small amount of vinegar and water to loosen food residue and disinfect.
• Never put in the dishwasher or let soak in water.
• Wipe with hydrogen peroxide to remove any remaining bacteria.

Oiling (use mineral oil — available at any pharmacy):

• Start with a clean, dry board.
• Apply mineral oil evenly using a clean, soft cloth or paper towel.
• Let it soak in, then remove the excess.
• Oil every 3–4 months in normal climates; monthly in dry or cold climates.

Questions & Answers

What can I engrave on the cutting board?

You can engrave a family name, a couple's names and wedding date, a recipe, handwriting, a logo, a monogram, or a custom design. Engraving is on one side only and is included in the price. We'll send a digital mockup for your approval before engraving begins.

Is every board a different size?

Yes — the length is consistently 15" but the width varies naturally from 7"–9" due to the live-edge wood sourcing. The thickness is ¾" throughout. Because each board is cut from a single piece of cherry hardwood, no two boards are identical in shape, grain, or width.

Can I use this as a serving board for charcuterie?

Absolutely. The presentation side (engraved) looks stunning as a charcuterie or cheese board. Flip it to the plain side for active cutting and chopping. The cherry hardwood is food-safe and durable with proper care.

How long does production take?
