These beautiful laser cut signs are made from a rough cut plank of Peruvian Walnut with the text cut from 1/8" maple. The contrast from the dark walnut and the lighter maple truly make these signs a standout addition to your home.
The Peruvian Walnut is darker in colour then Black Walnut, it has a deep chocolate colour and occasionally has a purple hue. These boards have been skipped dressed to show colour and grain and are rough cut adding the rustic charm of these signs.
The maple letters are raised 1/8th of an inch and give your sign a nice 3D effect.
You can also add an engraved message to the back of the sign if you like. This is engraved into the wood, not raised lettering like the front.
Your sign comes with a sawtooth hanger on the back for hanging on a wall but they also look stunning sitting on a fireplace mantle or tabletop.
Once your order is placed you will be sent a mock up to review and approve before any work begins.
Signs are 23 inches wide and 5 to 6 inches from top to bottom. Each piece is unique and no two are the same. Signs are finished with several coats of mineral oil to bring out the beauty of the wood. These signs are for indoor display only. If you want to hang your sign outdoors you will need to treat it with several coats of urethane to protect it from the elements. We do not offer this option.
